The Nature of Worship in the Eyes of the Creator and Its Importance in Communicating with the Soul

Most of us have wondered: "What is the significance of worship commanded in holy books to the Creator, or why has the Creator commanded us to worship?"

While this might seem like a precarious question at first, for someone following this blog, it is a very important and answerable one. If we can perform our acts of worship with sufficient "khushu" (tranquility/reverence), these acts may actually be our only way to interact with our soul, which remains dormant since the "Alast Covenant" (the primordial covenant). From this perspective, while the infinite different lives of the countless bodies in the Multiverses are under the control of the soul, we can think of worship as the feedback loop from these living bodies back to the soul. In this light, we can say that the Creator has commanded worship for our own benefit.

Through this path, we increase accountability by allowing the soul to receive instantaneous information from our worlds; we transmit data to the soul so it can answer to Allah in the hereafter. In reality, souls may not inherently know anything about the world we currently inhabit; we provide it with information about our world at the frequency commanded by the Creator, so that when it awakens in the hereafter, it can give an account to the Creator. If we do not worship, our soul—which will remain ignorant of this universe—will be unable to account to the Creator and will be lost in eternity.

Thus, the Creator has actually RECOMMENDED worship to us, not for Himself, but so that we can transmit information to our soul. If we do not worship, the soul will be unable to answer the questions posed upon its awakening in the hereafter and will vanish into the void of eternity. This is the concept we call Hell.

Paradise, on the other hand, is the state where the souls of those who worshiped regularly and with God-consciousness (Taqwa) awaken in the hereafter, answer all questions regarding the lived universe, easily cross the "Sirat Bridge" metaphor, and continue their existence as a part within the Presence of Allah—integrated with eternity.

These are my thoughts; please share your comments.
