Aliens May Exist, But Whether We Are Looking for Them in the Right Place Is Doubtful
Aliens May Exist, But Whether We Are Looking for Them in the Right Place Is Doubtful
Friends, the existence of aliens is a very high probability, but rather than searching for them in the bottomless darkness of space, I think—with some reference to religious texts—we might consider them to be beings that will emerge from underground and exhibit an unusual appearance.
This brings us to the event of Gog and Magog (Yajuj and Majuj), which is mentioned in many authentic hadith narrations, and regarding whom there are disagreements among scholars as to whether they will come from the sky or from underground. In this case, the first thing that comes to my mind is that technological processes in the future will reach such a point that all humans who have lived throughout history and were buried underground after death will emerge among the people living on Earth, appearing to them, in a sense, in the form of early evolutionary humans; and I think the people living on the surface will mistake them for aliens and wage war against them. Afterward, I think the afterlife will begin by the decree of Allah.
I also think the hadith of our Prophet (peace be upon him), "Increase your friends and decrease your enemies," indicates that the more people we bring into our ranks in this great war, the less risk we will face when the great battle takes place. Furthermore, I think the verse in the Holy Qur'an, "For a human being, there is only the return of what they have done," shows that Allah established laws and created this universe merely as a playing field to observe which of us will abide by these laws the most. At the same time, the hadith narration stating, "There will be a very great war before Doomsday," also fits this description.
